How to reach the Friedrich August hut
Our hut is located in the Mt Col Rodella area, at Passo Sella/Sellajoch pass, surrounded by the unmistakeable peaks of Mt Sassolungo/Langkofel, Mt Catinaccio/Rosengarten, the Sella group, and the Pordoi group, between the Val Gardena/Grödner Tal and Val di Fassa valleys.
It’s a paradise for skiing in winter as it’s directly on the slopes of the Sellaronda, guaranteeing the perfect blend of comfort and enjoyment. And there’s no better place in summer, as it’s the starting point of one of South Tyrol’s most famous trails, the Friedrich August Weg, and some of the best climbs in the area.
We’ll explain how to reach the Friedrich August hut here.
